"Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire...it is a time for home."

Babs Donahue...our turbo-knitter
Barbara (Babs) Donahue comes to our knitting ministry from The First Congregational Church in Shrewsbury. She has knit nearly 500 shawls since her husband Jim's passing. He encouraged her to use her knitting skills to give others the same comfort he had found in a prayer shawl. We give thanks for her wonderful, giving spirit!!!
from an article in the Community Advocate...Msgr. Mike wants everyone to think he knit all these shawls!!!! |
